We don't often think about bathing cats because felines tend to be very finicky about their coats anyway; they're well-equipped to tackle their own cleaning routine, and unlike dogs will not tolerate a dirty coat. Your cat spends much of her time cleaning itself; however, there may come a time when a bath from you is absolutely necessary. Whether she's gotten into something very smelly or dirty or she's suffering from a skin allergy or a fungal infection that requires your care, we're here to help you find the right bath products for your cat quickly and affordably.
We offer a range of cat grooming products including flea and tick washes, medicated cat shampoos, and plenty of gentle or hypoallergenic options. For cats that simply will not tolerate the bath, we also offer waterless shampoos that can be applied without wetting or rinsing.

Tips for Cat Baths
1. As with anything, try to get a head start on the situation. If you currently have a kitten at home, begin to introduce her to regular bath times now while she can still learn to become tolerant of water. While she may never learn to like them, regular baths while your cat is still young will help you to avoid those no-holds-barred-all-claws-out altercations later on.
2. Because your cat is armed with 18 deadly daggers, make nail clipping a regular part of the routine. Like bathing, providing regular nail trims early on will get your cat used to the idea of someone handling her paws. With trimmed nails, you'll also be safer should your cat have a conniption in the tub.
3. Equip your tub with everything you'll need to make bath time as efficient and pleasant as possible. That means adding a rubber mat to avoid slipping and a good removable shower head (or otherwise efficient vessel like a big plastic pitcher).
4. Keep the water temperature comfortably warm, somewhere between 90°F and 105°F, to avoid startling your cat and sending her running. When you add water to her fur, take special care to avoid her face and her ears.
5. Rinse your cat thoroughly to ensure no residue stays on her coat, and wash her face simply using a damp cloth. Avoid letting water enter your cat's ears since the shape of their ear canal makes it very easy for water to stay trapped and lead to bacterial growth. The same is true for our canine companions.
