When liver function is compromised, the exact cause can often be difficult to determine. Support of the liver, regardless of the cause, is essential if function is to be improved. S-Adenosyl-225 has been shown to markedly increase glutathione levels in the liver of dogs and cats. It's activity goes far beyond just increasing glutathionine levels. It has also been shown to protect liver cells from cell death and may be useful in cell repair and healing.

Ceva replaced its Sogeval S-Adenosyl (SAMe) product with new SAMeLQ. The new SAMeLQ replaces Milk Thistle with Quercetin and Licorice Root Extract which are shown to work better than Milk Thistle alone.

Directions:

• Cats :: 1 tablet daily
• Dogs up to 20 lbs :: 1 tablets daily
• Dogs 20 to 75 lbs :: 2-3 tablets daily
• Dogs over 75 lbs :: 4 tablets daily

If giving more than one tablet, divide the dose between morning and evening. SAMeLQ should be given on an empty stomach at least one hour before feeding.
