Rx Vitamins Hepato Support is a professional veterinary formula containing a standardized extract of milk thistle in combination with a full complex of B vitamins and alpha lipoic acid to help promote normal liver function. The active bioflavonoid complex in milk thistle, silymarin, increases the uptake of hepatic glutathione and stimulates hepatocyte protein synthesis. Milk thistle in this formulation has been standardized to contain 80% silymarin and 30% silybinin, the highest percentage available in any liver nutritional supplement.

Recommended Dosing:

Dog: One capsule twice daily for each 25-50 lbs of body weight
- 10-50 mg/kg/day divided twice daily for most conditions. Can increase up to 150 mg/kg/day with no toxicity
Cat: One capsule daily or as recommended by your veterinarian
- 10-50 mg/kg/day divided twice daily
