Benzoyl Peroxide Gel
Pyoben Gel is a topical water base preparation for
use in treating superficial microbial infections of dogs and cats. Benzoyl peroxide is an
oxidizing agent which possesses antibacterial and keratolytic properties.
Pyoben Gel contains 5% micronized benzoyl peroxide in a gel base.

Benzoyl peroxide is an
antibacterial agent and causes drying and peeling.
Dosage and Administration: Pyoben Gel should be applied to the affected areas once or twice daily after cleansing the area.
Precautions: For external use
only on dogs and cats. Avoid contact with the eyes or on mucous membranes.
If irritation develops, decrease frequency of use or discontinue use.
May bleach colored fabric clothing or carpet.
Contact dermatitis has been reported in humans but not in dogs.
Depending on the
severity of the condition, concomitant systemic antibiotic therapy may be
indicated.
Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands after
using.
