Primary IV Set With Flashback Bulb 20 drops/ml, 72"

JorVet Infusion Set by Jorgensen Laboratories is a sterile, primary IV administration set 72 inch is used to administer fluids intravenously or subcutaneously from a fluid bag or container. Piercing Spike can be easily inserted into all infusion containers. The smooth surface reduces the risk of rubber abrasion during insertion. Integrated Bacteria Proof Air Vent in closed position works on non-vented collapsible IV bags. Accurate Drop Former helps form even, large drops for the required drop rates. Drip rate is 20 drops per ml. Soft elastic tubing assures an easy setting of the roller clamp. Air bubbles can be easily detected through the transparent tubing. Precision Roller Clamp provides a reliable setting of the infusion. The Luer Connector Latex Injection Piece ensures the hygienic injection of drugs. Needles sold separately.

Directions: Use aseptic technique

Close clamp
Remove cover from spike and insert into solution container and suspend
Squeeze drip container until approximately one-third full
Open clamp and flush tubing of all air
Close clamp
Attach luer adapter to venipuncture device
Open clamp and regulate flow by adjusting roller clamp

Excellent Quality IV Set for Giving Fluids to Pets	April 12, 2024

I have tried several brands of IV sets to give sub cutaneous fluids to pets. This is by far, the best quality. The tubing stays flexible, doesn't kink even after multiple uses, and the closing roller doesn't break the tubing. The vent is easy to insert in the fluid bags. I have used Baxter and I hope I never have to use that brand again. It is awful. I am grateful to medi-vet for making this product available to their customers. Thank you!

Superior Set for Infusing SubQ Fluids	April 12, 2024

I have tried several infusion sets to give fluids to animals. Most of these sets have brittle tubing that kinks and breaks easily. The Jorvet set is made with a different material that is flexible and stays flexible without kinking or narrowing after several openings and closings of the fluid flow. The mechanism monitoring the flow is easy to use, as well. (The Baxter set, for example, has a wheel closure that is stiff and difficult to roll. It often closes too tightly and ruins the tubing on the set.) I always try to purchase Jorvet Supplies. The quality really is superior.
