Antiseptic Shampoo For Dogs, Cats & Horses
Covetrus Phyto CHX Antiseptic Shampoo is
an antiseptic shampoo combining surface-active penetrating agents and
emollients designed for dogs, cats, and horses with dermatological
conditions responsive to chlorhexidine. Formulated to help restore the skin barrier for optimal results.
Phytosphingosine is a pro-ceramide with anti-inflammatory properties that helps restore the dermal lipid barrier to aid in the long term management of skin disorders.
Phyto CHX (formerly Dermachlor 4% Shampoo) is indicated for mild to severe dermatologic conditions where a full-strength
antimicrobial, cleansing and deodorizing shampoo is needed.
Directions:
Wet coat thoroughly with water. Apply and lather PhytoVet C Shampoo over the entire body, allowing for 5 to 10 minutes of contact
time. Rinse completely with water. Repeat if necessary or as directed by
your veterinarian.
Active Ingredients: Chlorhexidine Gluconate 4%, Phytosphingosine 0.05%
Cautions:
For topical use only on dogs, cats and horses. Avoid contact with eyes. Not
for otic use. If irritation develops, discontinue and consult your
veterinarian. Available through licensed veterinarians only.
