LaCristal Neo Eye Drops is a balanced ocular solution for dogs and cats to help reduce lens opacity by preventing or partially reverting the formation of senile cataracts and sclerosis of the lens. Also used in the treatment of ophthalmic disorders with an oxidative component in their etiology.

Directions for use:
Apply 1 or 2 drops twice daily in each affected eye using the squeeze bottle.

Ingredients:

1% N-Acetyl-Carnosine, Witch Hazel, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose and Benzalkonium chloride, which helps to reduce lens opacity
N-Acetyl-Carnosine improves lens transparency and optimises vision. It has antioxidant properties that protect the cell membrane lipids and lens proteins from oxidative damage. Also, due to its antiglycation effect, it reduces the formation and accumulation of non-enzyme glycation products and the protein cross-linking that causes lens opacity.
Witch Hazel acts as an astringent, vasoconstrictor, decongestant, tonic, revitaliser and antimicrobial agent.
Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose increases intraocular N-Acetyl- Carnosine absorption and its persistence in the conjunctival sac. It also acts as a lubricant, with protective and decongestive properties to relieve ocular irritation.
Benzalkonium chloride acts as an antiseptic.
