Antiseptic, Cleansing Shampoo
Virbac KetoChlor Medicated Shampoo is a antifungal, antibacterial, medicated shampoo to be
used in the management of fungal skin
conditions and bacterial dermatitis
(pyoderma) responsive to ketoconazole and
chlorhexidine. KetoChlor Shampoo may be used on dogs, cats and horses of any age.
Active
Ingredients: Chlorhexidine
gluconate 2% and ketoconazole 1%
Directions:
Shake
well before use. Wet the coat with warm
water and apply sufficient shampoo to
create rich lather. Massage KetoChlor into
wet coat, lather freely. Rinse and repeat.
Allow to remain on hair for 5 to 10
minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean
water.
Frequency
of use: Initially two to three times a
week for four weeks, then reducing to once
a week, or as directed by a veterinarian.
Keep
out of reach of children. Wash hands after
use.
Federal
law (USA) restricts this drug to use by or
on the order of a licensed veterinarian
For external use only on dogs and cats.
Avoid contact with eyes or mucous
membranes. If undue skin irritation
develops or increases, discontinue use and
consult a veterinarian.
Store
at controlled room temperature of 59°-86°F.
