Vetri-Science Vitamin E 1000 With Selenium - Vitamin E and Selenium
have long been recognized as potent antioxidants. Antioxidants protect cells
from free radicals, which are unstable molecules. Free radical production is a
normal part of metabolism, however, production can increase during times of
physical or environmental stress.
Directions For
Use:
Foal over 6 months and Idle Adult: 1/2 scoop daily
Lactating/Gestating Mare: 1 scoop daily
Adult/Light Work: 1 - 1 1/2 scoops daily
Adult/Intense Work: 2 scoops (2 oz.) daily

dl-alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)

Selenium (as Sodium Selenite) . . . . . . . . 1 mg
Inactive
Ingredients: alfalfa meal, apple flavoring, corn oil (dust control),
propionic acid, vitamin E complex.
Do
not over-supplement Selenium. Overfeeding of selenium supplements can be harmful
to your horse. Soils in the East, Northwest, and Great Lakes areas are generally
deficient of selenium. Some Midwestern and Southwestern states have excessive
amounts of selenium. Contact your local feed consultant, county extension agent
or veterinarian before supplementing.
