Entyce (Capromoelin) Oral Solution
Appetite Stimulant For Dogs
Entyce Oral Solution provides an effective and safe way to stimulate appetite for dogs that have decreased appetite or complete lack of appetite. Entyce has a targeted action that mimics ghrelin (the hunger hormone) to trigger the feeling of hunger.
Underlying conditions that can cause inappetence:
- Dehydration
- Fever
- Gastroenteritis
- Medications
- Nausea
- Pain
- Psychological - aging, changes in routine, environment changes.
- Systemic or chronic disease
Long-term poor nutritional state may result in:
- Decreased quality of life leading to decreased survival
- Decreased musculoskeletal strength
- Delayed wound healing and recovery
- Decrease immune response
Administration and Dosage:
Give 3 mg/kg (1.4 mg/lb) body weight once daily.
3 mg/kg = 0.1 ml/kg
To administer Entyce, gently shake the bottle, and then withdraw the appropriate mount of solution using he provided syringe. Rinse syringe between treatment doses.
How supplied:
30 mg/ml flavored solution in 10mg, 15 ml and 30 ml bottles with measuring syringe
