Clenz-a-dent dental care products for dogs and cats have the active ingredients RF2 (a member of the polygonaceae family of flowering plants) and PlaqueOff (purified seaweed extract, Ascophyllum sp.).  Bacteria in the mouth produce a matrix called a bio-film in which they hide and multiply.  The bio-film grows to form dental plaque which in turn gets mineralized into calculus.  RF2 fights plaque and calculus where they originate by breaking down and destroying the bio-film.

Clenz-a-dent RF2 Clinical Wax is applied by the veterinarian immediately after cleaning to help prevent formation of plaque.  Clenz-a-dent Wax Home Care is applied by the pet owner at home to continue the protection against bio-film and plaque.

Directions:

• Apply once a day, preferably after mealtime.
• Put a bit of wax on your gloved finger and spread a thin layer along the teeth of the upper and lower jaws
